Vehicular Manslaughter

It wasn't so long ago that the suits in Hollywood (and evidently the Valley, by the looks of some of these budgets) set their sights on automotive enthusiasts as their go-to villains and maniacs for the not-so-silver screen. It seems mental patients, vampires, aliens and red-headed stepchildren had already had their time in the lime light and the open casting call was answered by the violent youth behind the wheels. By the looks of these posters I'm surprised anyone ventured out onto the roads at all. Although Ron Howard leaves much to be desired in the instilling fear department. I could only imagine walking in front of my local movie house and seeing the back-lit poster for Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! -- "One for the matinee, please."

"Hot Car Girl" sounds like the name of a contact in a douchebag's cellphone.

oh man, death race 2000 with David Carradine and a young and unknown actor named Sylvester Stallone. One great flick.

where do you find all of this? It's undeniably intriguing. I'm actually wondering about the posters but moreover, I want to know where I can see all of these films too.

Great selection, some big names in there too: Jack Nicholson, Graham Hill, Giacomo Agostini. Is that a Jensen in Speedtrap?!
I discovered Faster Pussycat a while ago, the visuals are captivating but I'm still yet to know about the story or dialogue.

Faster Pussycat discovered (introduced to by roommate) circa 1990...Blew my mind. Like Henry Miller, Bukowski, White Zombie(Rob Zombie), Chet Baker, HST, etc., I thought "I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD DO THAT...AND GET AWAY (MAKE MONEY$$$)WITH IT!" (Exclamation marks and CAPS for realz-not just effect)

FP openened my life up to a world I didnt know existed. Great collection!

"Faster Pussycat..." is awesome. With regard to Russ Meyer films, "Motor Physcho" would've been an excellent addition to your list.
