Print's Dead!

I've said it here before, and I'll say it here again -- Sometimes you just need to wear a good old t-shirt and jeans. 60/40s, mackinaws, oxfords, waxed whatnots and the like... yeah, there's a time and a place, but don't ever forget the plain and the simple. We all love the epic photos of our heroes wearing t-shirts atop motorcycles and behind wheels, yet somehow the trends tell us that you aren't properly dressed until three layers are between you and the elements, even if that element is pure golden sunshine. And I'm not just talking the plain white tee either, I'm talking about the importance of the vintage graphic tee. I say stand up. Stand up to the winged skulls and gothic type. The all-over and the panel print. The flash art and gold foil. The embellished and whipped stitched. Take back the graphic tee. Take it back!

Performer: You Know Say Daddy Me Snow Me-A Blame

I had a few friends in town this weekend, and BMX was often the topic of choice around the dinner table. As a kid, there were a handful of bikes all of us used to jock. Whether it was the teardrop Skyway, the Auburn with the bolt-on rear we all somehow felt we couldn't live without, or the square-tubed PK Ripper, we all had our dreams. However, before all these, it was strictly the GT Performer. Sure, there were more expensive and lighter bikes, but it was all about the Pro Peformer when it came down to it. What bike was it for you, what did you sweat?

Ahab Huckleberry

"I heard howley shred so hard he break his stick!" I don't even surf and I think these are rad. The surf fins from Captain Fin Co. are some of the most fun surfboard accessories to look at these days. Cmon, a Smiths fin? What better way to rep your love for Morrissey while shredding the green room... or is the blue? Whatever, I heard it was blown out anyway.
