ESQUIRE '67: College Fashion

Scored an amazing find the other day: An Esquire mag from Sept. '67 ( sorry Michael and Lily). It's stocked full of little gems. I'll post a few of the good ones in the coming days.

"The Mod phenomenon, whatever its merits as fashion, served in its brief lifetime as an effective depth charge upon the stiff conformity of American attitudes towards clothes. If one has lived through the daisy-print ties, low-slung-wide-belted trousers, high heeled boots and shoulder length hair, then presumably one is conditioned to take the unexpected in stride."

"Textured twill"

"Multi sets"

"Patterned slacks"

"Windowpane Plaids: The hottest pattern"

"Big belt"

"Short coat"
