A few weeks ago I came across a website which dealt in antique firearms -- a fitting stop in my endless googling. It wasn't the guns which made me click through their inventory, but the pictures. In an attempt to show off the detailed aspects of the firearms, they seemingly inadvertently created some of the most dynamic photographs of pistols I had ever seen. After I collected a handful and pulled the color out of the images, I was left with a series fit for white walls and red dots. Yet again, form following function, with art created from necessity.
