Over the last couple of years I've become slightly obsessed with 80s culture. I'm not sure what it is since I hated most things 80s while living through them. Hindsight is 20/20. I know I have it bad when New Order is one of my Pandora stations, when asked one person I'd like to have dinner with living or dead, I answer John Hughes, wear a trench with a t-shirt and refer to Molly Ringwald as a sex-symbol. Hey, if you can't beat 'em, peg your jeans.
There is just something about certain aspects of 80s style that now seems timeless and classic. Pretty ironic considering by the early 90s most people cringed when referring to five year old trends. What goes around comes around. Nothing captured the essence of the 80s like the films that defined the decade, so when searching out inspiration I've come across plenty of references. I have my favorites, but am looking for the ultimate and most stylish film of the 1980s. What do you got? Bueller? Bueller?
