Thanks to everyone that threw some comments down on where to go and what to see. I think I ended up hitting about 80% of what was said. Portland is quite the place, and I don't mean that in a telling-the-ugly-girl-she's-quite-a-girl sort of way either.
I touched down a couple hours before sunset and the weather couldn't have been better, or at least that's what the locals told me. I argued. I would've guessed it was the middle of the damn winter. I wouldn't have needed to borrow a jacket if the weather couldn't have been better. After a quick vegan club sandwich, I was ready to paint the town red. No, I'm not vegan but when your tour guide is and you visit one of the most vegan-friendly cities in the world, it's not all that difficult to eat that way and enjoy it. I do however find it ironic that "fake meat," or seitan is pronounced satan (okay, not exactly, but close enough). Fitting, no?
Blah blah... I had fun. You don't want to hear about it. Here's some photos of what I saw and how I saw it.
