"It's a blanket. Just a blanket." I've been into these Native American blankets as of late. Not so much for the prospect of utilizing their ability to keep me warm, in fact, they look less than comfortable, but for their simplistic designs and color combinations. It goes without saying that there is an intrigue and respect given to the fact that these were made by hand, one at a time. Every inch was meticulously thought out and every piece of yarn was carefully planned. That in itself is impressive enough. But, the thing that truly draws me to these is the idea that although a lack of materials and technology was present during construction, that lack coupled with skill and love created something, so one-of-a-kind, no amount of technology could replicate today.
