After an amazing field trip last week, these guys have been on my mind. Go pick up the book and see what went into creating an icon. Vans celebrates the birth of their brand, and tells some great grass-roots stories of starting a shoe company in the 60s. A company born with 'form follows function' echoing at their core, they are still designed by kids who know what a skate shoe should be. Forever classic.
