Factory 5 Daytona Coupe

I happen to think this is one of the most beautiful American made cars ever assembled, but that's just me. In 1965, only 6 were built. In 1962, Carroll Shelby built the iconic Cobra to take on Ferrari and beat him at his own game at the coveted Le Mans 24 Hour Race, which he did. A few years later, the Daytona Coupe was built for pretty much the same reason, and yes, it did. Seeing as how only 6 were built, chances are you will never see an original, much less touch or, gulp, even sit in one. BUT, thanks to Factory Five, you can own one (well, one that looks like one) and even burn tires in local High School parking lots. The base price is around 15k. That's just a rolling chassis. You want to actually have one that makes noise and drives, well, look to drop about 40. "L-I-V-I-N, man, Livin' the dream". It is sexy though.
