Leave it to Ohio to give birth to one of the coolest sports in American History (bold of me, isn't it?). The World Championships have been held at the Derby Downs in Akron Ohio since 1934. Sure, they still do it, but from the looks of photos "then" and "now", it was way cooler "then".
