Solved For X

In sticking with the theme Enzo set for us, I bring you a couple more designers from across the drink, Young And Norgate out of Devon, UK. Their simple yet intricate approach to modern furniture has us coughing up comparisons to the most Danish of Mid Century designers, stuttering over van der Rohe quotes, and leaving us speechless.

The apparent flagship of their fleet is the Wellington chair which the designers saw as an experiment in wood working. It is the product of a complicated equation where materials and classic methods are pushed to the absolute limits while maintaining comfort and craftsmanship. The chair is available from the designers directly as means to keep the cost as low as possible by cutting out the middle-man, a method we simple folk seem to appreciate more and more these days.
