Whether you're trying to tote it on two shoulders, put a laptop in it, keep it small enough for overhead compartments or find it in milspec fabric, none of us are totally happy. Last night I stumbled on this site, Bag Exposure, which makes the promise of "helping photographers with the endless pursuit of the perfect camera bag..." These guys feel our pain, and are here to help. They might not solve your problem, but they sure as hell try. Hit it up.
Oh, you don't have a huge budget for a music video? Well, hire a DP who understands angles and light, throw in some knives and stuffed animals and shoot it under beautiful forest canopy light. Goes to show you don't need car chases, helicopters and pyrotechnics to make a memorable video. Watch it after the jump.

Ive been on a book kick lately, especially out of print photo books on auto racing... all three of them. A friend told me about this obscure little release back in '72, and like a blaze orange-clad sportsman in Alabama, I stalked. At Speed by Jesse Alexander was the prey, Amazon was the killing fileds, and a couple hundred BUCKS later, it arrived on my doorstep. Words can't describe, so....
Nothing like early 70s Japanese muscle to get your day going (pause?). Sure, the Fast and the Furious franchise may have thrown the spotlight back onto these bad boys, but how can you deny their vintage luster? There are a few more in the queue before this one, but trust it's on the list for sure.
So, what happens when some of my favorite design superheros join forces? This. The collab between Environment and Commune is nothing short of perfect. Okay, maybe the prices aren't perfect, but can you really put a price tag on wood and brass stackable cubes? Yeah, you can. And worth every few thousand pennies.

Sure, there are better Speedys out there, but I certainly can't hate on this one. White face, red hand, weird, bulbous "apollo" sub-hands... as is. The Speedmaster "Alaska Project" is discontinued but you can find them on eBay for around 4k if your heart do so desire. You'll probably even find one with the red anodized, aluminum outer case necessary when worn in temps between 145c-245c... although I'm not showing any pictures of that... because it's ridiculous and bums me out.
