Multi-Tasking Care Of Business

"HAHAHAHAHA... whoooooo, man. I thought you said, 'a whole website devoted to multi-tools!!' HAHA. What? Oh, sorry. That is what you said." Yep, this just may be the very reason the internet was discovered. Leave it to "multi-tool fans" to create a place to mingle amongst friends and discuss important advancements and various achievements in the world of multi-tooling. Hey, we all got our thing, and this might be one of my new ones.

Shuffle

This song just came up on random and totally made my day. The oldies but goodies are the ones that count the mostest. CAN I SCREAM...

Shrunked To Fitted

I picked up a pair of Levis 501 x Cone Mill jeans the other day from Secret Service and am happy to say I just might have found a pair of Levis I can actually live with. 501s that fit like 511s and with a wash that actually looks the part. Ooo, baby I like it raaaaaw, but sometimes I want a pair of jeans that don't feel like cardboard. "No, I'm not an artist, the pants came with those paint splatters."

Why do more companies not make 30x34? I had to get the 30s and cuff the 32 inseams to make the length look intentional. Us awkwardly, tall, skinny kids need jeans too!

Make Something Of It

Does anyone make anything? I'm looking for individuals who make cool things for a project I may be working on. (Cryptic, I know, but not that exciting.) Maybe you make leather bags, motorcycles, furniture, handmade hats or 1/8th scale models of Medieval-European cities. Whatever, email me and tell me about it.

Eh?

Came across this site the other day and got stuck wasting more time than I should've on it. Some great original pictures, documents and drawings from the Canadian War Museum. You gotta love high res images of cool things.

Death By Stereo

For the most part, speakers are ugly. What I suppose I mean is, they look like speakers. They're made of expensive materials, are proportionate and usually blend in to the background, but once you notice them, they're speakers. They're one of the only household appliances available in enough shapes, sizes and materials to coexist in 3,001 personal styles as long as your personal style is modern. After a little digging, I came to a conclusion... I was right. Well, if they must be heard, make them scream. Here are a few that struck a chord during my search.

Get Out Of My Dreams

Remember when Honda made cars worthy of film cameos and first dates? Neither do I. But evidently our fathers do. In 1964 Honda offered up the S600 as a mass market car to help with their fledgling transition from motorcycles to automobiles. Taking the place of the S500, the new model put out a few more ponies and boasted of styling cues taken from the Greasy Boot. The coupes, with their limited production run of 1,800 over a three year span, are more than rare and worthy of a little attention these days. Honda tried to capitalize off their one-hit stylish pedigree with the S2000, which fell grossly short of La Dolce Vita and landed all too comfortably in The Fast And The Furious. Well, it seems the S600, with its impressive class win at Nürburgring in '64, earned a fair amount of foliage... laurels Honda, perhaps, should have rested on.

Thanks to my buddy, David (fine, my Dad's buddy, David) for turning me on to this story. Any friend of my Fathers is a friend of mine (especially the ones with an F430 and an '81, single-owner Datsun Z in his garage).
